Received a Copy of Professor Horibu’s New Book

Professor Masao Horibu, Professor Emeritus at Hitotsubashi University and former Chairperson of the Personal Information Protection Commission, kindly presented us with a copy of his new publication, “Recollections of the Inaugural Chairperson of the Personal Information Protection Commission.” The book provides detailed accounts of the history of Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the background of negotiations for the Japan-EU adequacy decision (416 pages).
